Privacy-first by design.

This page explains what data AppLockr and the AppLockr website handle, why it is handled, and where third-party services are involved. Last updated: May 18, 2026.

What we collect

On the website

The website is primarily informational. If you initiate a purchase or crypto checkout, we may process information such as your email address, selected payment method, and related purchase identifiers.

For license access

AppLockr uses email-based license access. To activate or verify a purchase, we may store your email address, license key, payment/order references, and limited fulfillment metadata needed to confirm access.

Inside the app

AppLockr is designed to be privacy-focused. App settings and local protection behavior are intended to stay on your device unless a specific server-side license verification step is required.

What we do not intentionally collect

  • No advertising profile data
  • No sale of personal data
  • No unnecessary analytics from the core AppLockr app experience

Third-party services

AppLockr uses third-party services for infrastructure and payment handling. Depending on the payment path you choose, your information may also be processed by:

  • Supabase for backend functions, storage, and license-related records
  • Ko-fi for card-based purchases and support payments
  • NOWPayments for crypto invoice creation and payment confirmations

Why data is processed

  • To create and verify purchases
  • To activate or restore access to AppLockr
  • To provide customer support and refund handling
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, or duplicate fulfillment

Data retention

We may retain purchase and license records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide access, resolve support issues, comply with legal obligations, and prevent duplicate or fraudulent activations.

Your choices

If you want to ask about, correct, or request deletion of purchase-related personal data we control, contact applockrmm@gmail.com. Some information may need to be retained where required for fraud prevention, bookkeeping, or legal compliance.
